All Powering consultants, sales developers, trainers and coaches have practical and very senior sales & distribution experience (12 years minimum) in various positions at well-known international companies and brands.
Whatever their background and nationality, they all are very hands-on people, sharing the same passion for execution, obsession of result and practical sense. They also bring innovative ideas and authority, daring to say things and always raising the bar.
After 8 years in operational sales & distribution functions in the Automotive sector (Sales Director, GM Business Unit, VP Sales & Development Europe), Olivier joined the consulting world and the Omnicom Group in 1999, as Managing Director of Proximity BBDO Consulting, before taking the helm at Impetus Consulting, consulting Branch of the CPM Group focusing on sales performance acceleration.
He then decides to start his own venture and founds Powering in 2013, gathering high level sales performance and development experts.
Specialist in distribution strategies, sales development and effectiveness, Olivier is also author of the successful self-help book ‘Mieux exploiter sa distribution’ published by Dunod.
He holds a MBA from EM Lyon and a MS from Ecole Centrale de Paris.
After starting her career at SCC Group, a leading European IT services company, where she held strategic accounts and sales management positions, Sylvie joined the HR consulting world at AIMS International and then Bernard Krief RH in 1999. She developed an expertise in talent development, coaching of senior executives and high potential managers, support of executive committees on transfomration projects, and recruiting of top managers.
Sylvie decides in 2014 to join Powering to bring her dual expertise in HR and business, anddevelop our expertise in leadership, managerial skills development and transformation.
As a certified coach, she accompanies our clients’ managers, teams and organizations in their development through a tailor-made, highly pragmatic and resolutely results oriented approach.
Nikolaus lives in Germany and is part of the consulting community for more than 20 years now. He started his career at Concepta, a specialized strategy consulting company working for major retailer, wholesalers and manufacturers with own retail arms. In 1993 he joined Marketing Partner. In this position, he was in charge of literally hundreds of strategy projects improving the performance and efficiency of sales and e-commerce.
In 2010 he founded DVSB Consulting, specialized in strategic sales projects covering distribution channels, organizational development, sales management and digitalisation. He becomes Partner at Powering in 2014, heading most of consulting projects in Germany and Northern Europe.
Nikolaus has written various books as well as specialist articles on Sales and Service. Additionally he regularly delivers speeches and lectures on sales subjects.
Philippe started his career as a Business Analyst at Sema Group, a French IT company. He then held from 1990 to 2000 several operational positions at PPG Industries and ASAHI Glass Group (Supply Chain manager, Commercial Director, Head of Business Unit) where he structured and developed a pan European business in manufacturing and distribution of automotive spare parts.
He joined the consulting world in 2001, working for several major consulting firms and conducting various missions mostly in strategy, business reorganization and sales performance for industrial or service companies.
He joined Powering in 2014 to work on sales performance and heads our B2B Pricing Effectiveness expertise. He holds an MBA from HEC Paris.
Since he started working 25 years ago, Olivier held various positions in R&D, marketing and communications, business development, global account management, client service and general management, mostly for technology, services and global consulting companies (Intel, Dassault Systèmes, Text 100).
He joined Powering in 2017, to bring his strong expertise in sales effectiveness, key account management, business transformation and change management. Olivier has experience working for start-ups as well as global industry giants.
Olivier lives in Munich, is trilingual in French, German and English. He holds an engineering degree from INSA Lyon, a PhD from Ecole des Mines de Paris, and a business degree from the Institut Français de Gestion.
After 16 years in Senior positions in Marketing, Sales and General Management for major international groups in Brazil (Saint Gobain, Assa Abloy, Etex Group), mostly in construction materials, electronics, household and security products, Paulo decided to switch to sales performance consulting and training in 2012. He then joined Powering to head the Brazilian office , and rapidly developed a strong an experienced team.
He has a very practical experience on how to create sales opportunities, develop sales channels and accelerate growth. Certified coaching practitioner, he is also helping salespeople, managers and commercial teams on behavior changing and competence development to achieve and surpass their goals.
